It was stealing large quantities of floodwaters and had recently started excavations for a dam near the area of separation at Quneitra, which constituted a violation of both international law and the 1974 Disengagement Agreement, and against which the Syrian Arab Republic would defend its interests by all possible means.
وهي تسرق كميات كبيرة من مياه الفيضان وقد شرعت مؤخراً في حفريات لخزان قريب من منطقة العزل في القنيطرة، مما يشكل انتهاكاً للقانون الدولي ولاتفاق فك الاشتباك في عام 1974، والذي بمقتضاه تدافع الجمهورية العربية السورية عن مصالحها بكل السبل الممكنة.
